Online Banking Agreement

By subscribing to, or using Gold Country Bank’s on-line banking service, GCB Online, you, and any others whom you permit to use GCB Online, agree to the terms and conditions of our GCB Online On-line Banking Agreement. By using GCB Online, you and any others whom you permit to use GCB Online, consent to the electronic transmission of financial information. Your consent will be deemed effective until we receive notice in writing or by email addressed to customerservice@goldcountrynb.com.

GCB Online includes systems designed to safeguard your on-line transactions from unauthorized use. We use multiple levels of protection including but not limited to a User Identification system (User ID and password), 128 bit encryption and "firewalls" at our web server location. Additional security is provided by policies that restrict access of your account information to those employees and service providers who need access to your information to service your account.

We agree to make our best efforts to ensure the performance of GCB Online. We will be responsible for acting only on those instructions which we receive from you. We will not assume responsibility for losses and damages, in the event of the following occurrences:

  • If your computer is not working properly (including, without limitation, Internet access through your Internet Service Provider (ISP));
  • If your computer hardware or software systems do not meet our requirements for access to the site;
  • If there is any loss, damage or injury resulting from loss of electrical power, telephone service, interruption of service provided by your ISP or any other communications services, including, but not limited to, cable and satellite services; or
  • For any other circumstance beyond our control which prevents the completion of the transaction.

We reserve the right to perform maintenance on our equipment or system on a regular basis which may result in interrupted service or errors in the use of GCB Online. It may be necessary for us to change GCB Online services from time to time. Furthermore, we reserve the right to block access to GCB Online to maintain security over our web site, systems and records. We will attempt to provide prior notice of such interruptions, changes or denials of access but cannot guarantee that such notice will be provided.
